Entrepreneurship - This course will teach students what it takes to go into business for themselves. They will learn how to recognize business opportunities by understanding entrepreneurial trends, evaluating whether to start or buy a business, and by assessing global opportunities. Some of the major topics we will cover will be feasibility and business planning, market analysis, business law, pricing and promotion, managing human resources, and accounting and financial reporting practices. Students will work collaboratively to run and maintain Bison Corner our very own school store!

Business Law - This course covers the most current and relevant topics in business law. Topics covered include; court systems and procedures, tort law, contracts, consumer law, renting or owning a home, banking laws, bankruptcy, employment law, forms of business, business regulations, cyber law and E-commerce, insurance and estate planning. These topics will be covered through-out the school year. Students will participate in multiple mock trials to enhance the application of course material. This course is NOT a criminal law class.

Computer Programming - This course covers the most current and relevant topic and programming techniques in Java and Visual Basic. Students will learn how to create basic computer programs as well as learn how to create more robust interactive computer programs. Students will be responsible for creating programs on their own as well as working with collaborative teams to complete programs.
