Summer Instrumental Music Lessons

The Music Department of the Carlisle Area School District is offering enrichment lessons to band students presently in grades 4-11.  The lessons will be taught at the McGowan High School in the music area located behind the auditorium.  Some advantages for summer instrumental lessons for elementary students include:

1) Individual attention

2) Student retain notes and fingerings learned during the year

3) Student progress is uninterrupted.

Lessons will be 30 minutes in length once a week beginning the week of June 16 through July 14.  Students may choose an individual lesson or a shared lesson with one other student of the same instrument.  Our recommendation is for students to select a private lesson.  Lessons will be given between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm unless other arrangements are made.

The total cost of the 5 lessons is $68.00 for individual and $34.00 for shared.  Checks should be made out to the Carlisle Area School District.    Registration forms were passed out to all band students and need to be returned to the school office by May 29.
