Welcome to CATCH! CATCH stands for a Coordinated Approach To Child Health and is evidence-based, coordinated school health program designed to promote physical activity and healthy food choices in children. The CATCH Programs cover kids from preschool through 8th grade and has been implemented in thousands of schools and after-school organizations across America and Canada.

By teaching children that eating healthy and being physically active every day can be FUN, the CATCH Program has proven that establishing healthy habits in childhood can promote behavior changes that can last a lifetime.

The Carlisle Area School District physical education programs at North Dickinson and LeTort Elementary Schools utilized the CATCH program during the 2015-2016 school year. This program increases the amount of physical activity that occurs during gym class by engaging all students in variety of fitness activities.

This program has been made available to the school district through a grant funded by the Partnership for Better Health. For more information about this grant and other activities funded by this community organization go to
