This app is "freeware".  It was developed and posted online by a web application developer to simulate the calculator we use in class.  It was not created by TI, is not sold by them, and is not supported or updated by them.  If you chose to use it, it is at your own risk.  I have never had any problems with it, but I am not a computer programmer or expert on this kind of app, so I can't guarantee it will run on your particular computer or operating system and I do not offer tech support if you can't get it to work.  You should always get permission from your parents before downloading anything to your computer.  Again, using this app is at your own risk. You can follow the steps below to download and run the Virtual Graphing Calculator, which is similar to what we use in class.

Step 1:  Click on the link at the bottom of this page to download the file to your computer.  Chose the option to open file using Explorer.

Step 2:  In the temp file, find the Virtual TI New Folder and Open it.  Keep opening the subfolders until you get to the "vti83" application.  Double click that and choose to "extract all" in the option box for compressed zipped folders.

 
Step 3:  Select a destination folder on your computer and click "extract".

 
Step 4: Go to the folder where the file was extracted.  Double click the Virtual TI New folder and open the subfolders until you find "vti83".  Double click the icon to run the virtual graphing calculator.
