Carlisle Cross-Country teams wrapped up the dual meet season on Tuesday evening at home, hosting State College and CD East. On the girls side East was a non-factor and the Lady Herd claimed a 15-50 win, but the meet with State College was very close. Our 6th and 7th girls factored into the scoring as we pulled off a 26-31 victory over the Lady Little Lions. Leading the way for Carlisle were Natalya Kennedy and Zofia Andrusyszyn. The rest of the scorers were Caroline Haith, Cora Cook, Solis Bollinger, Mackenzie Mitchell, and Becca Fetterolf. The girls end the regular season at 3-3.
The boys team had no close calls last night. The final score with East was 19-49, while the Herd also won over the Little Lions 15-49. Winning individually (and leading the way over 2 water crossings), was Luke Kaden. He was followed closely by Vitor Santos, Marcus Kennedy, Eisley Seretti, and John Blacksmith. Cole Hough and Evan Belden also factored into the final scoring. The boys now have a guaranteed share of the Commonwealth Division title as we end our regular season at 5-1 and no team is left undefeated.
