Bellaire K-Kids Thanks Community Service Groups

Bellaire K-Kids Thanks Community Service Groups
The Bellaire K-Kids created “Thank you for your Service” cards for local EMS, Fire Stations, Carlisle Police Station and North Middleton Police Station.  They gathered treats to stuff “Thank You bags” for each community service organization.

Sergeant Kolodzi from the North Middleton Police Station visited the K-Kids for donuts and shared information about his line of work, how people would prepare to go into his line of work, on-going training and examples of his daily responsibilities.

K-Kids, a program sponsored by Kiwanis International and the local Carlisle Kiwanis Club, is a service club for students focused on community service projects.  The club adviser is 4th grade teacher Polly Pluta.

Thank you to Sergeant Kolodzy and all of our Community Service Organizations!
