The 8th Grade Manufacturing and Design Elective involves student forming and company and developing a product for sale.  This is a student driven class where we take a peak at the "real world" of work and business.

As a class, students are asked to do the following...

• Elect a President and Vice President
• Develop at least 4 different project proposals. 
• Present Project Proposals to the class and vote for a class project
• Develop Class Project
• English Skills - Business Letterhead, Business Letter, Purchase Order, Inventory Sheets
• Math - price, price per item, shipping charges
• Marketing - Advertising, slogan,
• Teamwork - students must work together and communicate in order to accomplish the class goal
