Early Childhood Education 1

Early Childhood Education I introduces students to the field of early childhood education.  Students will study the development of young children from three years through five years as well as study how to create lessons for art, music, math, science, social studies, gross motor and storytelling.  Students will learn how to design a bulletin board, name tags, and hanging decorations.  Additionally, students will learn how to guide children's behavior and how to keep the environment safe.  Participation in the child development lab is a significant component of this class.
