Students Compete in PJAS Competition

Students Compete in PJAS Competition
On Saturday, February 22nd, eight students representing Carlisle High School and three students representing Wilson Middle School, participated at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS).

This event took place at Carlisle High School where over 160 students from Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Mifflin, and Perry Counties competed for a spot at the state PJAS event.

Each of these students had to present a ten-minute speech to judges and other student competitors surrounding their respective science fair topic.

All of the students put forth a tremendous amount of time, dedication, and effort to present at this high caliber competition. Students who earned a first place, at least a score of 4.0, are now able to move on to the state PJAS competition, which will be held at PSU from Sunday, May 17– Tuesday, May 19th.
