Virtual Board Meetings

The Carlisle Area School District is committed to public input and participation in school board meetings in a manner that is consistent with guidance provided.  Given the current circumstances related to COVID-19, we are making available remote, online participation in order to promote the safety and health of our community.  We will not have in-person public participation during this period due to the health and safety risks it poses.  You can call into the meeting to provide public comment via Zoom.  You can join the Zoom Meeting from a computer, mobile device, or tablet.

Public Meeting Access
To obtain the link to the meeting, please register using the information below.  Once you register, you will receive an email with a link and phone number to attend the meeting.

Register in advance for this webinar: Students should NOT enter their street address in the registration form.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Public Comments for Board Meetings
There are no public comments during committee meetings.

Public Comment on an Eligible Agenda Item During Virtual Board Meeting:  

There are three ways to make a public comment:

• To comment by video conference, click the “Raise Your Hand” button in your Zoom session to request to speak when Public Comment is being taken on the eligible Agenda item. You will then be unmuted, during your turn, and allowed to make a public comment. After the allotted time, you will then be re-muted. Instructions on how to “Raise Your Hand” is available at:

• To comment by phone, you will be prompted to “Raise Your Hand” by pressing “*9” to request to speak when Public Comment is being taken on the eligible Agenda Item. You will then be unmuted, during your turn, and allowed to make a public comment. After the allotted time, you will then be re-muted. • To offer a public comment prior to the meeting, call and leave a voice mail for Stephanie Douglas at 717-240-6800 x16820 no later than 6 PM on the date of the Board meeting.

• Attendees, that are not students, must state full name and address when addressing the Board.  Students need to state their full name and grade-level when addressing the Board.  Students should not state their address.
