The Bel Canto Singers are young women in grades 10 - 12 with previous school choir experience who have demonstrated advanced singing and musicianship skills through an audition. This ensemble meets period 3 every day. Students can expect to extend their singing ranges, refine their tone quality and breathing technique, expand their ability to hear specific details within music, and accelerate their music reading ability. Grading normally falls into four main categories: Singing Skills, Rehearsal Skills, Musicianship Skills, and Performance Skills. Performances are required, and students are expected to stay for the entire concert. Concert Dates are listed below.
