School Board Member, Dr. Fred Baldwin, Recognized for 24 Years of Service

The legacy of school board service is firmly embedded in the history of our nation and its commitment to public education.  The Pennsylvania School Boards Association, founded in 1895, has a rich history as the first school boards association established in the United States.

Since 1983, long-term school directors have been honored across the state by the association at local school board meetings.  School directors are recognized for years of service from eight to 44 years.

Dr. Fred Baldwin, a member of the Carlisle Area School District school board, received recognition for 24 years of service.  He was presented a plaque adding him to the PSBA “Honor Roll for School Board Service” a meeting on Thursday, October 19, 2017.
