2023-2024 AP Exam Information

College Board is requiring AP registration to occur in the fall, so students need to commit now with their intentions to take an AP Exam for their designated AP Course(s) in the Spring. 

                                                       

The cost for each exam is $98.00 (except for AP Seminar and AP Research which is $146). A reduced exam fee is available for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. The reduced exam fee is $20.00 per exam (** Cost pending final approval from the state).  Payment is due no later than November 8^th, 2023.  If payment is not received, it will become an obligation.   

 

Checks or Money Order should be made payable to CASD or you can pay online through https://carlisleareaschooldistrict.square.site. When paying online, please choose CHS Counseling as store pickup, but please note that you do not need to pick up anything for AP exams.   

 

REGISTRATION PROCESS – MUST BE COMPLETED BY NOVEMBER 8^TH, 2023: 

1. Students must enter the AP classroom join code for each course into MyAP.CollegeBoard.org – you can get the code from your AP teacher or the join code document posted in Schoology.  
2. Once you enter the join code, you must select Yes to order your exam or No if you have no interest in taking an AP Exam 
3. Students must complete the registration form and bring it to the Swartz Counseling Center.  Students must have a parent signature on the registration form for their registration to be complete.  
4. Submit your AP payment via check, money order, or online payment no later than November 8^th, 2023. 

 

*If you register after November 15^th, 2023, you will have to pay a $40 late registration fee.   

** If you decide to drop an AP exam after November 15^th, 2023, you will have to pay a $40 cancellation fee.  

*** If you want to move an exam to the Late-Testing window, you will have to pay a $40 fee per exam.

THE EXAM PAYMENT and REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Wednesday, November 8^th, 2023.  In order to guarantee test availability, all monies must be submitted by this date.
