High School Students Plant 500 Trees on Campus
On April 19th-23rd, Carlisle High School students planted 500 trees on the high school campus.  Ryan Davis, from Alliance for the Chesapeake, acquired funds to allow for this large campus improvement to occur. Holly Smith, from Penn State Ag Extension, acquired volunteers to assist the students with this transformational project!

Currently, a total of 1,900 trees and approximately 10 acres of the campus have now been populated with a variety of upland, fast growing deciduous trees.
