The new Feeding School Kids program, by The Giant Company, creates several ways that customers can donate to school food and meal programs. The Giant Company supported and matched the generosity of its customers with up to $1.5 million.
On Thursday, March 20, 2021, the Carlisle Area School District was awarded $30,541.08 from Giant Store Managers, Aaron Farmery and Tim Dismore. These funds will pay for mobile carts used to serve breakfast and lunch, shelves/merchandising carts, insulated food carriers and food storage boxes.
The District is beyond grateful for this new program and thankful for our area Giant stores.
