The CHS Quiz Bowl team represented the Capital Area Intermediate Unit at the Pennsylvania State Academic Competition on the floor of the PA Senate and House of Representatives. Hundreds of teams across the state were narrowed to 19 teams (CHS qualified with a record of 15-0 in the regional competition). At the event, CHS advanced to the semi-finals, losing to the team which eventually won the state title. With a 6th place state finish, the team will compete in Atlanta at the national competition with 300 teams from across the country.
The team consisted of CHS seniors Charlie Carlton, Faith Clark, and Bennett Shine and juniors Elias Kradel and Atticus Renault.
