On Tuesday, February 27th the VFW Post 7343 based
in Mount Holly Springs presented the Carlisle High School with a check for
$1,000.00. This donation will be used towards the continuing efforts of
Kevin Wagner, Social Studies Program Chair, to create a Vietnam Wall of Honor
at Carlisle High School recognizing all graduates or attendees that served in
the Vietnam War. The award was presented by Robert Bear, Barry Bender and
Charles Steinberger members of the VFW Post 7343 and all part of the CHS Class
of 1967. Also present were Steve Martson, CHS Principal Jay Rauscher, Superintendent Christina Spielbauer, and Acting Assistant Superintendent Colleen Friend.
