The Carlisle High
School Model UN team has returned from NYC and the annual NHSMUN conference
with another award under their belt - the 7th straight year in a row! Our
team represented the nations of Turkey and Japan, along with several other key
positions on specialized agencies such as the Security Council, International
Criminal Court and International Court of Justice. Congratulations
to all 52 members of the team for their incredible hard work over the past
several months and the past four days in working to solve some truly complex
world problems!
And the Model UN
team would also like to extend our sincere thanks for the generous
donations toward the Service Learning Project - going to Doctors Without
Borders. The CHS team was once again the recipient of the "Award for
Generosity and Unmatched Service Learning Project Contributions" having
raised almost $900.00 prior to the conference - THANK YOU!!!
