Girls In STEM Day

Girls In STEM Day

On March 27th, twenty-one students traveled to Harrisburg University of Science & Technology to partake in the Girls in STEM day event.  This event was sponsored by Harrisburg University of Science & Technology, as well as the Million Women Mentors Program. While at this event, participants were able to experience and learn about Interactive Design and Computer Science, Geo-Spatial Technology, as well as video-conference with students from Pittsburgh and Houston.  The girls ended off the day with a 'meet & greet' session with women in STEM fields .  It was an incredible opportunity for these ladies to learn about a variety of STEM fields and meet some incredible women working in these in-demand jobs.  Please check out the pictures from this event!
