On
March 27th, twenty-one students traveled to Harrisburg University of Science
& Technology to partake in the Girls in STEM day event. This event was sponsored by Harrisburg
University of Science & Technology, as well as the Million Women Mentors Program.
While at this event, participants were able to experience and learn about Interactive
Design and Computer Science, Geo-Spatial Technology, as well as video-conference
with students from Pittsburgh and Houston.
The girls ended off the day with a 'meet & greet' session with women
in STEM fields . It was an incredible
opportunity for these ladies to learn about a variety of STEM fields and meet
some incredible women working in these in-demand jobs. Please check out the pictures from this
