Description of the Indicators

The following letters will be used to score assignments and tests. The letters low will also appear on report cards this year.

Exceeds

E

If you earn an E that means you are EXCEEDING the standard of work based on the academic standard. Only applicable to Language Arts and Math concepts indicated by a *.  
     

Meets

M

If you earn an M that means you are MEETING the academic standard for your current grade level. This is what you should strive for.
     

Progressing

P

If you earn a P that means you are making PROGRESS toward the academic standard for the current grade level. If you earn a P, you need to continue working on this standard.
     
 

Intensive

 

I

If you earn an I that means you are INTENSIVE.  If you are intensive that means you have not yet begun to demonstrate an understanding of essential skills and concepts.  You are making minimal progress towards meeting the standard. Considerable teacher support and guidance is needed.
