Per District Policy #103/104:
The Carlisle Area School District is an equal opportunity education institution and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, age, religious creed, religion, gender, gender-identity, sex, sexual orientation, ancestry, national origin, marital status, genetic information, handicap/disability, pregnancy, childbirth or pregnancy-related medical conditions, or any other status protected by law in its activities, programs, or employment practices as required by Title VI, Title IX and Section 504.
It is also the policy of this district to comply with federal law and regulations under Title IX prohibiting sexual harassment, which is a form of unlawful discrimination on the basis of sex. Such discrimination shall be referred to throughout this policy as Title IX sexual harassment. Inquiries regarding the application of Title IX to the district may be referred to the Title IX Coordinator, to the Office for Civil Rights of the U.S. Department of Education, or both.
The District does not discriminate in any manner, including Title IX sexual harassment, in any District education program or activity. The District has established Title IX personnel to promptly respond to concerns and reports of sexual harassment and assault. All investigations into reports of sexual harassment and assault will be impartial, free of bias and conflicts, and will not prejudge the facts for either side. The District strives to maintain an environment where all students, staff, and greater community feel safe.
