In 2024, the Board of Directors, Superintendent Dr. Colleen Friend, and Head Track & Field Coach DJ Rodkey recognized members of the outdoor track and field teams for their accomplishments.
• Collin Witman qualified for the New Balance Middle School Outdoor Nationals and placed 28th overall with a jump of 17’ 8 ¼”.
• Ana Bondy was a key member of the Girls team where she placed 5th in the 800 and 1600, 6th in the 3200, and 2nd with the 4x800m relay team at the District competition. The relay team would also take 7th at the State competition with a school record of 9:21.22.
• Members of the Boys team were recognized for their roles in claiming the Mid Penn Commonwealth Division Title (9-0), Mid Penn Meet Championship, and the District 3 AAA Boys Team Championship Title!
• Also at the District competition, Parker Smith took 4th in triple jump, 6th in the 400, 2nd with the 4x1 team, and 1st with the 4x400m relay team.
• Kolbin Heberlig took 1st with the 4x800m relay team and 6th in the 3200m run.
• Xavier Campbell took 5th in the triple jump.
• All three Boys relay team school records were broken at the state championships this year.
